Statement: Every day, Jake puts his heart and energy into advocating for and representing the vital needs of our communities-- good paying jobs, quality schools that are fully funded, a transportation system that works for everyone and an effective safety net for the most vulnerable, especially foster children and homeless youth.  As Vice-Chair of the House Transportation Committee, Jake led the way to secure funding for needed local transportation projects including I-5 JBLM, Highway 167, Port of Tacoma Road, Pierce Transit and Sound Transit.
